About Us
Alekz is a nonbinary multimedia, multidisciplinary artist, writer, and grief support specialist currently receiving their Masters in Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City. They collage, paint, carve, write, weave, knit, and build spaces for reflecting on grief, gender, disability, and social responsibility. Part of this work manifests in a series of grief essays on their Substack, 'Befriending Death' where they write about the ins and outs of grief for the lay griever.
